The training path
ENHANCEMENT OF THE MILAN AREA TOWARDS EXPO 2015 (40 hours)
• landscape marketing with an expert –> understudied in school• simulation of tourist companion’s service by bus, one student at a time• simulation of tour guide’s activity in the following places:
o castles and historical buildings along the Naviglio museumso Liberty route (villa Necchi Campiglio, C.so Venezia, S. Ambrogio)
• training on site rather than in classroom
Evaluations of the training institute are only in itinere and not ex post (they are not able to document the students improvement after the learning week)

Positive aspects• the high school teacher has acquired the role of a tutor• involvement of two teachers skilled in landscape enhancement
• high integration of theory and practice• no school drop-out• very high customer satisfaction --> great success and enthusiasm for the simulation on site and deepening of the theorical topics studied in school
Future stepsAnother LW for next year with a different topic we must propose new projects every year
Critical aspects and suggestions for improvementNone. Everything went booming. Great performance.Perhaps the lack of resources has allowed fewer steps (choice of a low number of students)
