One is immediately impressed when entering the grounds of this unique property. A long private lane past the wildflower meadow via a gated entrance, leads to an oval driveway and the immaculately presented gardens of Beakin Brook.

The house stands majestically in 4.17acres of woodland and streams, mature manicured gardens with two ponds, raised vegetable beds, and extensive paved patio areas where one can enjoy the calm and tranquillity of the location, dine Al Fresco or entertain friends and family for a BBQ.

The location of Princes Gate is just less than 3 miles from the bustling, very popular town of Narberth, which is well known for its unique boutiques, restaurants, art galleries and pretty aspect. The usual amenities are available including a junior school, doctor’s surgery, dentists and pharmacies. The county town of Haverfordwest is just 12 miles away with a selection of large grocery shops and department stores.

EXTERIOR:The house boasts four garages – one alongside the house, and three in an interconnecting block with an attractive timber clad finish, located at the end of the driveway. They all feature electric up and over doors and provide ample space for cars, motorbikes and bicycles, out door gear as well as garden equipment. To one end is a purpose built wood store.

The house is abundant in areas to sit and enjoy the outdoors whilst enjoying the garden, woodland and wild flower meadow. Between the meadow and the house, across the lawn, a brook meanders through the grounds with three bridges strategically placed to access and enjoy different areas of the property.

Past the children’s play area – equipped with a full array of play equipment, is a bridge leading to a decked area alongside the stream. Providing an area of calm and shade, one can sit and enjoy the property from a different aspect whilst listening to the brook bubbling by and observe the wildlife – including ducks, moorhens and butterflies enjoying the serene setting. It’s a convenient spot to keep an eye on the family enjoying the play area and an amazing tree house attractively built over another area of the stream.

Walks over yet another bridge to the woodland – colourful with daffodils, bluebells and wild garlic in the spring, is a walk leading to the lower pond which is naturally fed by the stream.

At the rear of the house is a patio leading to a series of tiered raised beds where raspberry canes, loganberry bushes, artichokes and asparagus are already thriving in an ideal sheltered environment.

The planting of the beds around the patios and inset into the lawns is impressive, with an array of colour and interest, in herbaceous bushes and plants carefully selected to provide year round appeal.

Wherever you look, there is something of beauty to enjoy in this carefully planned garden and grounds.

Services:The property is on mains water and electric, with private drainage and oil fuel heating.
