Product Information

Some of the baths included in this guide are suitable fortwo bathers. The floor must be able to support thecombined weight of the bath, the water and two bathers.

INSTALLATION

Installing the Feet (Drop-in Bath)

1. Install the cross bar onto the bottom of the bath byfeeding it through the bracket.

2. Make sure the cross bars are evenly spaced aboutthe centre of the bath and secure them in positionwith the bolts.

3. Install the feet onto the cross bars and secure themin position with the nuts.

Preparing the Bath for Installation (Drop-inBath)

1. If required, use the installation template (supplied) tomark the positions of the holes for the taps and drillwith a suitable tool.

We recommend that the hot and cold watersupplies are installed with isolating valves.

2. Fit the taps and waste onto the bath in accordancewith the manufacturer

,s instructions.

Note!

3. Position the bath in the desired location and makesure that it is level. Adjust the bathtub to obtain aheight of 510 mm minimum and 620 mm maximumbetween the floor and the rim of the bath.

The feet can be adjusted to make sure that thebath is level.Note!

Installing the Bath (Drop-in Bath )

1. Construct a stud frame designed for your particularinstallation. Use the dimensions in the diagramabove when constructing your frame.

When constructing the frame make sure that youinclude service panels. These are required formaintenance of the valve and waste assemblies.

For drop-in baths without a ledge at least a 2 mmgap must be left between the top of the wall and the rim.Do not support the bath on the rim.

2. Carefully position the bath into the recess.

Either finish the top surface of the framestructure before dropping the bath in, or level the bathleaving enough gap between the top surface and thebath rim to slide tiles under.

1. Ensure that all the connections are tight.2. Turn on the water supply and check for any leaks.3. Cover the bath frame with water-resistant material in

accordance with the manufacturer s instructions.,

4. Install the finished wall surface in accordance with

the manufacturer s instructions.

5. Apply a bead of silicone sealant between the bath

and the finished wall surface.

6. Remove the packing pieces from the top of the bath.

7. Remove any excess sealant.

8. Fit the pillow.

1. Remove the bolts and washers that attach the apronto the bath.

2. Remove the apron.

3. Place the apron in position on the floor and, using apencil draw around the inside surface of the apron.

4. Position the bath in the desired location and make

sure that it is level. Adjust the bath to obtain a height

of between 635 5mm between the floor and the top

rim of the bath, please refer to the dimensions on

page 5.

The feet can be adjusted to make sure that the

bath is level.

6. Lift the bath and remove the floor clamps from therods.

7. Put the floor clamps in the marked positions on the

floor and fix them in position with the floor plugs and

the screws.

Make sure that you avoid hidden

cables and pipes when drilling holes in the floor

or wall.

Installing the Bath (Freestanding)

1. Rest the bath in an upside down position using two

chairs for support.

2. Carefully install the apron and secure in position at

each end with the washers and the bolts. Do not use

a drill for this procedure.

5. Lift the bath up slightly and remove the blocks.Lower the bath back onto the floor clamps, makingsure that they engage correctly in the floor clamps.

6. Use a screwdriver to lock the floor clamps.

that the rods on the legs locate directly above the

floor clamps.

4. Connect the services to the bath.

Note! The flexible waste pipe (supplied) and flexible

inlet connectors should be used.

Cleaning

Caution! Risk of product damage. Many

cleaners contain abrasive and chemical

substances, and should not be used for cleaning

stainless steel, enamel, plated or plastic fittings.

These finishes should be cleaned using a mild

washing up detergent or soap solution, rinsed

and then wiped dry with a soft clean cloth.
