assist in analyzing and identifying the various styles and types of Situational Leadership
◦ Apply the Situational Leadership model
definitions and concepts to differentiate the most effective types of Leadership to be used with varying follower groups and situations.
What is it? The leadership style utilized in a group setting in
relationship to the available resources or capabilities of those resources
When would I use it? Just as in the One Minute manager Builds High
Performing Teams, you use it when you need to set goals and work with others to achieve them.

OBJECTIVE: The student will at the end of this task and while watching the video be able to list the traits of leadership as well as followership for each section on the blank document

What was your experience being a member or facilitator for the group(s)? Was it positive? Negative?
What, specifically, would you or could you have done to make the groups you participated in, better, after having read The One Minute Manager Builds High Performing Teams?
OBJECTIVE:
◦ By the end of this group session the students will be able to Participate in group activities with responses that assist in analyzing and identifying the various styles and types of Situational Leadership
◦ The students will be able to correlate the information found in the book with the information discovered in Task 1, combining and composing that information generating both follower and leader complementary traits
Break up into your 5 assigned groups
Bring your copy of One Minute Manager Builds High Performing Teams, book by Ken Blanchard.
Take the Blank Four Squares in your notes and compare them to what you find on pg. 64 of the book.
Find the traits of leaders as well as followers for the specific blocks
Be sure to combine the correct levels of leader interaction with the level needed to match the abilities of follower
Then complete a new drawing depicting the graphic and what your group comes up with to help remember the concepts.
Present the your groups work at the end of the session
What were the important items that your group found to incorporate?
How did your group chose to represent the concepts?
Were there other concepts that you discovered within your groups that you added?
What other areas did your group think these concepts could be applied to?
◦ OBJECTIVE: By the end of this group session the student will be able to observe, compare and contrast different examples given of Situational Leadership.
◦ Using the concepts discussed, each group will be able to review a video scenario, and adopt an appropriate level of leadership.
