Bell & Webster Concrete Limited have been involved with the manufacture of

terracing components – step units, terraces, stairways, walkways and vomitory

panels – since the publication of the post-Hillsborough Taylor report in 1989,

which recommended all-seater sports stadia across England.

Designed for safe and swift erection, Bell & Webster’s Fast BUILD Terracing

units provide a versatile economic solution for varying viewing standards,

imposed loading and seating arrangements. Our first terracing project was

a stand at Villa Park for Aston Villa Football Club. Since then the company

have provided units for numerous other sporting disciplines including Horse

Racing, Cricket, Athletics, Rugby Union and League, Tennis and Football.

The expertise gained on sports terracing allowed the company to expand

on the units usefullness, our current range of Fast BUILD Terracing now

incorporates terracing for interior uses.

Bell & Webster’s Fast BUILD Terracing units are designed in accordance with

BS 8110 Part 1 1985 (the design criteria for the structural use of concrete).

Manufactured using Portland Cement to BS12 and aggregates to BS 882, the

units have half hour and one fire rating and can withstand extreme weather

conditions.

Bell & Webster’s Fast BUILD Terracing units are manufactured at the firm’s

capacious factory at Grantham, Lincolnshire which is Quality Assured to

ISO 9001. All units:

� Provides clear spans up to 8 metres

� Standard moulds can provide tread widths up to 960mm, Risers up to

600mm

� Achieves a natural frequency in accordance with the recommendations of

“The Guide To Safety At Sports Grounds” The Green Book

� Provides up to one hour fire resistance

� Designed to carry a superimposed load of up to 5kN/m2

� Provides a range of falls across the tread, from 0mm to 20mm

� Manufactured in our quality assured factory in accordance to

BS EN ISO 9001
