A student selection process needs to be in place for each course and program. Students selected must be ready, willing and capable of success. Parent involvement is essential. Communication among key people is important (students, parents, instructors, coaches). The reality among partners that high school students are not “adults” needs to be emphasized. Dual Credits courses are challenging courses and should not be used as schedule “fillers” in a high school student’s schedule. Acceptance that not all success stories look the same
