Noel Gallagher: sold out! In Rome after last November's
Sold-Out concert in Milan, former Oasis frontman NoelGallagher and his new band,High Flying Birds play tracksfrom their first album and pre-view another one. The newrecord, called simply NoelGallagher's High Flying Birds, isdescribed by critics as a sati-sfying blend of the surprisingand familiar. With occasional
experimental flourishes and acouple of winks towards Eightieselectronica and mid-Ninetiesindie pop, Gallagher offers hisusual patented spit and sawdustsong-writing. Above all, thealbum is electrified by the senseanything is possible, and finallyhe seems to be writing for him-self rather than for an expectantfanbase. True to his word, Noelhas thrown in several Oasistracks, starting off with It's GoodTo Be Free however, the focus isclearly on the new material. Livein concert on Tuesday 13th atAtlantico Live, Via dell'OceanoAtlantico 271/d. For informationtel. 0654220870.
