Tonight’s message: “From Sighs to Songs” Bro. Stephen Peeples
We here at Roopville Road are most honored by your presence today, simply because you could have chosen any church to attend this Lord’s Day and you chose us! It is our prayer that your worship experience will greatly minister to your deepest needs. Please know that we are here to minister to you in any way and pray that you will be blessed as we worship the Lord in one accord. Roopville Road is “A Place for YOU to Call Home” and we desire for you to feel at home as we exalt the name of Jesus Christ.
The year is half over. We have been corporately meeting on campus now for over a year. Our Lord’s return is getting that much closer. World events are setting the stage for His glorious return. May we live each day in light of His return, daily being on mission.
This morning we come to the Lord’s table with a message entitled “The Table.” Listen closely as we parallel “the table” with the “table” of the home. I trust we have prayerfully prepared to approach Communion with the Lord. Tonight, I will be bringing a message entitled “From Sighs to Songs” as we continue our study from the rich book of Habakkuk. The prophet goes from despair about the condition of his country and people to singing as he comes full circle in trusting the Lord. Don’t miss this exciting study!
Please be in prayer for Bro. Andrew and all of our student workers as they will be at student camp this week. I’m praying for many of our students to be encouraged in their walk with Christ as well as salvations to transpire.
Continue to be in prayer for the eradication of Bible poverty by participating in the illumiNations 12 Verse Challenge. This vital ministry has joined with other ministries to translate God’s Word for people groups who do not have even one verse in their own language.
Know that I am honored to be your pastor/shepherd and that you are loved. Please pray for me and my family and remember to be SALT & LIGHT!
