A LEADER IN SAFETY: Bilfi nger GreyLogix foodtec's latest development is our two-tier fi re detection system, which is based on extremely sensitive CO detection. Depending on the concentration, a warning signal is sent fi rst. If the value is higher, the system automatically turns itself off, or in critical cases, initiates the extinguishing/fl ooding process.
Structural explosion protection adds the fi nishing touch to our product range. These measures limit damage while enhancing safety for system personnel.

SPRAY-DRYER TECHNOLOGY: Threefold improvement – our retrofi t services
Our modernisation measures for projects in the fi eld of spray-Dryer technology comprise three aspects. We use state-of-the-art technology to achieve a range of improvements that make the system's future opera-tion more effi cient and – more importantly – safer.
1. OPTIMISATION OF PROCESS AUTOMATION
We offer a wide range of services designed to optimise the spray-tower process. These include the following:
– Process analysis in the event of bacteriological fi ndings and defi nition of measures to improve cleaning results.
– Adjustment and optimisation of process controls to increase profi tability. This includes increasing the production volume, reducing cleaning requirements and saving energy and other media.
– A spray-Dryer cooling system that uses separate spray nozzles to protect against unwanted activation of the extinguishing system in the event of a process-related increase in temperature.
2. OPTIMISATION OF SAFETY TECHNOLOGY
Before implementing a new safety technology concept, we conduct an analysis in order to check compliance with VDI 2263, the ATEX workplace directive, DIN VDE 100 and the machinery directive (2006/42/EC) A state-of-the-art solution is subsequently integrated that focuses on protecting employees and equipment. Of course, our designs meet the requirements of the employer's liability insurance association and European standards.
3. OPTIMISATION OF ELECTRICAL AND CONDUCTOR TECHNOLOGY
