Beaks

• Ducks: sieve-like bill edge strains out water plants and animals• Woodpecker: hard,

sharp chisel mounted on extra-thick skull.

• Herons: long neck and bill are spring-loaded spear

• Warblers: precision tool picks small insects off trees
