TheBISL-6026processorisacomponentoftheBISLidentificationsystem.Withintheidenti-ficationsystemitisusedforlinkingtoahostcomputer(PLC,PC).ItisintendedonlyforuseonlyinthiswayandinanindustrialenvironmentcomplyingwithClassAoftheEMCLaw.ThisdescriptionappliestoprocessorsinseriesBISL-6026-0��-….

Installation and startupInstallationandstartuparetobecarriedoutonlybytrainedspecialists.Themanufacturerrevokestherighttoanywarrantyorliabilityclaimsresultingfromunauthorizedmodificationsorimproperuse.Whenconnectingtheprocessortoanexternalcontroller,besuretoobserveproperpolarityforallconnectionsincludingthepowersupply(seesection"GettingStarted"onpage6).Theprocessormustbeoperatedonlyusingapprovedpowersupplies(seesection"TechnicalData"onpage10).

TheBISLidentificationsystembelongstothecategoryofnon-contactsystemshavingareadandwritefunction.Thisenablesyoutonotonlyreaddatacontainedinthedatacarriers,butalsotowritenewdatatothematanypointintheprocess.

ThemaincomponentsoftheBISLidentificationsystemare:Processor,read/writeheads,datacarriers.
