Awards for ExcellenceBig Ticks are awarded to companies whose programmes have demonstrated the positive impact of responsible business. Finalists go forward to judging panels, which selected the overall winners, the Examples of Excellence, in each of 14 categories, which are announced at the Royal Albert Hall.

Including all national and regional award entries:

• BITC received 394 Award entries in 2011

• 123 entries resulted in National Big Tick awards

• 65 of these were shortlisted for the Example of Excellence within their category

• 87 companies had their 2009/2010 national Big Ticks reaccredited this year.
