libraries.blacktown.nsw.gov.au OPENING HOURS All library branches are currently open Monday - Friday 9.30 am - 5.00 pm. Weekend hours remain unchanged. From Monday 1 November 2021, all library branches will return to normal operating hours. RESTRICTIONS • Vaccinated customers and those who are age exempt* are welcome to enter the library. Please have your proof of vaccination ready. *Children under 16 who are not vaccinated must be accompanied by an adult who meets the conditions above. • Masks are mandatory for everyone aged 12 years and older. • Limited number of people allowed in each branch. • Some library events, including children’s programs will not be available. BORROWING AND RETURNS • You can borrow items from the shelves and pick up reserves. • Place all returned items in the returns chute before entering the library. • Our Click and Collect Service will be available, please contact your local branch to organise this. PUBLIC COMPUTERS • A limited number of PCs will be available, plus printing and scanning. • Clean and disinfect computer equipment with sanitising wipes provided. • Wi-fi is available. HELP US KEEP YOU SAFE • Please do not enter the building if you have any flu-like symptoms. • Sanitise your hands when you enter the library. • Practise good hygiene and maintain social distancing. • Please do not rearrange furniture and/or computer facilities. • Please use self-checkout machines to minimise the exchange of physical items. OTHER SERVICES • Our eLibrary and online resources remain open 24/7. • Home Library Service and the Mobile Library continue to operate. • Limited JP Services are available.
