He will explain how you can help a destitute child at one of 56 mission sites in 15 developing countries. Their website is www.chalice.ca. Nutrition Programme - Provide children and their families at our sponsor sites with milk, vitamins, and food to help foster healthy and prosperous communities. Community Projects - Help families and communities by providing facilities and opportunities that they otherwise would be unable to access without assistance. Disaster Relief - Help families and communities rebuild in the aftermath of natural disasters, provide water in the midst of a drought, or provide medical care to a child in need of life-saving surgery. eRoots - Support people who are working to improve their food security by teaching economically and environmentally sustainable agricultural practices and providing the tools they need to succeed. Education - Give children the opportunity to attend school, provide transportation for those who live too far to attend or give the gift of continued education (post secondary/trade). ST. THERESE PRAYER GROUP: We will continue to pray for the families of Blessed Sacrament all year. Novena intention March 5 - 13: "The Scourging at the Pillar" for the virtue of purity. Mark 15:15: "... and having scourged Jesus" St The re se, please ask God to bring us to the fullness of His love in our lives. Please ask Him to fill everyone in our parish with the utmost regard for the physical gift of life that we have each been giv-en. And please ask the Father to help us to teach our youth with courage, that we might all use our bodies and senses to love Jesus and selflessly bring the Gospel to this fallen world.

FOOT CARE CLINIC: Every two months Blessed Sacra-ment Parish offers a foot care clinic to seniors. The next date for this clinic is on Tues. March. 3 from 9:30a.m. - 2:00p.m. and will be taking place in the parish nursery. The service is provided by a specially trained nurse for a nominal fee. For information and to make an appointment please call Mary Jane Rocque at 613 747 2259.

WIDOWS AND WIDOWERS GROUP: will meet for Dinner and fellowship on Weds. March 4 at 6pm at the Carlingwood Restaurant in the shopping center located at 2121 Carling Ave. There is plenty of parking available. Come out and join us. LENTEN RETREAT: The Catholic Teachers' Guild of Otta-wa invites you to register for its 2015 Lenten retreat on Sat-urday March 28 from 9-4pm at Dominican University Col-lege. Sr. Hosanna Christi, Sr. Maria Regina and Sr. John Mary of the Sisters of Life will lead the day which is entitled "Into the Heart of Life: Mary's Maternal Love." Holy Mass will be a focus of the day and opportunities for Confession will be pro-vided. A hot lunch will be served. The registration fee of $50.00 is payable by cash or cheque at the event. EASTER LILIES: Our parish decorating com-mittee is accepting $20 donations towards the purchase of a Easter lilies or hydrangeas in memory of a loved one. Anyone wishing to con-tribute towards a Easter lilies or hydrangeas needs to fill out a blue “Easter Lily Donation Form” that can be found in the vestibule of the Church. Please clearly print all the information required (your name, phone number, address PAD/envelope number and the name(s) in memory of). Once filled out, please place your form and donation into a “visitors envelope” located in the pews. We will be publishing a list in the bulletin on Easter weekend. PARISH FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION Collection on: February 22 - $ 3, 062. 20 Diocesan & Missionary Works Collection: $ 1, 462. 90 Help support our parish through the use of our ‘Pre Authorized Donation’ (PAD) service or by using a boxed set of envelopes. Use of PAD makes donations easier and consistent, benefitting the parishioner and the parish. PAD forms or envelope boxes can be picked up in the foyer of the church. These are our primary source of support for the parish. DEVELOPMENT AND PEACE - Sowing seeds of justice for women and girls in Nigeria: Supporting women and girls is a priority for Development and Peace. When 276 girls were kidnapped by Boko Haram from Chibok in Nigeria, our local Nigerian partner began working for their freedom, and has managed to smuggle three girls to safety. “Their voices and lost eyes betray deep pain… glimmers of humanity shine through only when they courageously recount the details of their escape,” states Raphael Yimga Tatchi, Development and Peace program officer for Nigeria. The Share Lent collection for Development and Peace is on the 5th Sunday of Lent, March 22.
