• A blog “a blend of the term web log” is a type of website or part of a website.

• Blogs are usually maintained by an individual or a Team with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order.

• Most blogs are interactive, allowing visitors to leave comments and even message each other via widgets on the blogs and it is this interactivity that distinguishes them from other static websites.

• Blogger is a blog publishing service that allows private or multi-user blogs with time-stamped entries.

It was created by Pyra Labs in 1999, which was bought by Google in 2003. On May 9, 2004, Blogger introduced a major redesign, adding more features . By May 2007, Blogger had completely moved over to Google operated servers.Blogger is ranked 7 on the list of top websites in the world .
