Mrs. J. F. Lambert left on the af-ternoon train for Des Moines, Ia., herformer home, to attend the funeralof her father-in-law, Mr. T. C. Miller,who died quite suddenly at his homein Royal, Ia. The remains will beremoved to Des Moines, and fromthere will be taken to the Ames Cem-etery, where interment will takeplace. He was 61 years of age.

The Abita Springs baseball teamwill play the Tudors from New Or-leans to-morrow (Sunday).
