In order to extend our services to more holiday areas, Bci opened offices in Algarrobo and Zapallar in Chile’s 5th Region. The Algarrobo office is a permanent cash agency of San Antonio branch while the Zapallar office is a temporary cash agency, open during the summer months, of Valparaiso branch.
T he El Belloto cash agency in the 5th Region was closed as it did not meet expected business volumes, while Saladillo-Los Andes branch, which functioned from Codelco’s premises in that sector, was moved to the town of Los Andes, 5th Region, to become a second branch there.
With these changes, Bci maintains 141 service centres split between 130 branches, 10 cash agencies and one customer attracting office. In addition, Sociedad de Recaudación y Pagos de Servicios Ltda., which belongs 50% to Bci and is a business support company, has 220 service points throughout the country.
