Guidelines/Terms & Conditions for setting up of Grid Connected RenewableEnergy Projects

1. Application form:The registration of the Grid Connected Renewable Energy Projects in the State of Bihar shall be obtainedfrom Bihar Renewable Energy Development Agency, Patna.

The registration of Grid Connected Renewable Energy Projects shall be governed by the provisions of theBihar Policy for promotion of Bihar New and Renewable Energy Sources-2017 declared by theGovemment of Bihar, Energy Department vide its letter No. Pra02lBREDA/Apra Niti-11/08 andguidelines issued from time to time, and the terms and conditions mentioned below.

The application form for the registration shall be filled & duly signed in all respect, relevant informationrequested for, shall be enclosed with the application form, separate sheets, if required, for providing theinformation be attached, not applicable options stricken off. All requisite fee/processing charges (non-refundable) etc. shall be paid along with the application form, unless otherwise specified, in the form of abank demand draft drawn on a nationalized bank in favor of 'Bihar Renewable Energt DevelopmentFund'.Incomplete applications shall be processed after furnishing of the residual information.

In the event of any dispute regarding the interpretation of the provisions of the above referred Govemmentpolicy and the other terms and conditions prescribed herein, the decision of the Govemment and theDirector, BREDA shall be final and binding to the applicants.

2. Suitability of the Sites:It is advised that the applicant ascertains the feasibility ofthe site, for Solar Power Projects, shadow freerooftop/land area, expected energy and arrangement of the array of modules, prior to selection of a sitefrom the angle of environmental factors will be considered.

3. Land / Rooftop reUtlO responsibilitiesIt shall be the sole responsibility of the applicant to ensure that all the statutory permissions/terms andconditions, required pertaining to the use ofrooftop/ revenue land andlor private land for the setting. up ofGrid Connected Renewable Energy Projects are obtained/fulfilled with, from the concerned authorities.BREDA/Government shall be absolved from all such disputes and responsibilities pertaining to therevenue land and /or private land matters those may arise.

4. Grid connectivity and evacuation facilities:The Applicant shall obtain the requisite permission of the DISCOM/ STU for grid connectivity and providemetering arrangement as per the provision of the policy.

5. Commissioning of the Grid Connected Renewable Energy Projects:The applicant shall inform the commissioning of the Grid Connected Renewable Energy Projects toBREDA. The commissioning of Grid Connected Renewable Energy Projects shall be as per prevailingguidelines of DISCOIWSTU.The applicant shall get the renewable power generator and its allied electrical installations inspected bythe Chief Electrical Inspector, Govt. of Bihar, and the certificate of such inspection and permission forcharging of the installation, shall be submitted to BREDA, along with the permission of concerned the

DISCOM/ STU for grid connectivity and wheeling of the power etc. Only after the submission of the

Certificate from the Chief Electrical Inspector, Govt. of Bihar, DISCON4/STU consent of connectivity and

wheeling of power, accompanied by requisition for commissioning by the SPP owner, the commissioningof the SPP shall be taken up by BREDA. The representative of the Grid Connected Renewable EnergyProjects owner shall also remain present during the commissioning of the project.
