SWOSTI PREMIUM In the year 2000 Swosti Group established “Swosti Premium Ltd.” (a 5-star hotel) which is the largest convention hotel in Eastern India. Swosti Premium has the highest number of guest rooms in Odisha and has successfully handled some of the mega medical conferences, international meetings, exhibitions and conferences. It is also government classified 3 star hotel and would soon be applying for reclassification as a 5-star property. Swosti Premium is also got the ISO 9001 : 2008 in the year 2009. GOPALPUR-PALM RESORT In the year 2004 Swosti Group entered into Gopalpur-on-Sea and opened “Gopalpur Palm Resort”, the only Luxury Resort at Gopalpur-on-Sea. The hotel is known for its quality seafood restaurant “Pelican” and its banquet and conference facility. The Swosti Group has already acquired land for beach resorts in Puri, Satpada and Bhitarkanika for an Eco Tourism Resort.
SWOSTI CHILIKA RESORT The new venture of Swosti Group “Swosti Chilika Resort” at Chilika Lake, the largest lagoon in the Northern Hemisphere, is the first and only resort which has come up and has obtained the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) Platinum Award as an Eco Resort. The Resort within a period of three years has been established as a major tourist attraction to the State and has become famous for wedding and MICE destination.
The Resort has been built to cater to high-end domestic and international tourists. Chilika lake attracts large number of migratory birds from Siberian Countries during the winter season and throughout the year the Irrawaddy Dolphins are an attraction for the tourists. Swosti Institute of Management & Social Studies Looking at the huge expected growth in the tourism sector and the acute shortage of trained manpower in the hotel industry all over the country, Swosti Group has entered into Hospitality Management Institute by the name and style of “Swosti Institute of Management & Social Studies” (SIMSS) in 2013. The SIMSS is a unit of Swosti Educational Foundation Trust, Registered on June 2009 having registration No.816/09 and affiliated under University of Culture, Govt. of Odisha. Within last 7 years Swosti Institute of Management & Social Studies (SIMSS) has made an outstanding achievement in the field of hospitality education in the state. Chilika at a Glance :
Chilika Lake is the largest lagoon in the Northern Hemisphere. The lagoon is a
unique assemblage of marine, brackish and fresh water eco-system with estuarine characters. It is one of the major hotspots of biodiversity and shelters a number of endangered species listed in the IUCN red list of threatened species, and also is
designated as the 1st Ramsar site in India.
Queen of natural beauty, Chilika, the largest brackish water lake in Asia covering an area of over 1,100 sq. km is a great attraction for the tourists for fishing, bird watching and boating. In winter Chilika aflutter with thousands of indigenous and
migratory birds of many varieties from far and near - even from the distant Siberia.

Places of tourist interest in Chilika Kalijai Island, Honeymoon Island, Breakfast Island, Birds
Island, Nalabana (Island of Reeds), Parikud Island, etc. are some of the important and interesting spots Backslide the lake. The
Island of Kalijai is famous as a center of religious worship due to
the temple of Goddess Kalijai where a big fair is held on the occasion of Makara Sankranti that falls in January every year.
Satpada, a lake side resort along with Chilika Lake, is one of the chief tourist attractions. There is confluence of lake and
Bay of Bengal at the site, drawing attention of the travellers. This region is known for Satpada is chief popular for dolphin sighting and also provides boating opportunities.
Tara Tarini Temple is a popular sacred shrine, which is dedicated to Goddesses Tara and Tarini. The temple of twin
Goddesses is perched on top of a blue capped hill. Devotees have to climb close to 1000 steps from foot of the hill to reach the shrine. On every Tuesday of Hindu Chaitra month, a
procession is hosted by natives.
Narayani Temple is one of the sacred places of high religious significance. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Narayani,
manifestation of Durga. The shrine is in the lap of Valley Mountains of Eastern Ghats and is one of the famous picnic spots of the region. Besides, there is a perennial spring and
green mango groves at the site that draw attention of the tourists.
Sankuda Island, also known as Breakfast Island, is one of the popular islands of the region. The beautiful island features a rich reserve of floral species. Owing to its pear shaped
appearance, Sankuda Island is also referred as Shank Island. Furthermore, the chief attraction of the island is an ancient
bungalow constructed by the King of Kalikote, Mr. Snodgrass.

Proposed Beach Resort at Gopalpur on Sea
Swosti Group is proposing a 3 star Beach Resort at Gopalpur-on-Sea for which land measuring 3.0 Acres has already been acquired. The site is located in the prime
tourist seashore area and has all infrastructure facilities. The resort project will have facilities such as conference hall, SPA, Health Club, Game Zone, swimming pool, BAR, Restaurant, Jogging Track, Lawn, etc., to attract high-end domestic as well as international tourists to Odisha.
Luxury Beach Resort at Gopalpur : The existing property “Gopalpur Palm Resort” is a
leased property (property belongs to TATA Group) and now Swosti Group has acquired
its own patch of land measuring 3.00 acre and planning to put up a Luxury Beach Resort
with a project cost of INR 100 crore.

Proposed Resort at Satapada & bhitarkanika
In addition to Beach Resort at Puri, Swosti Group is also working on two leisure destination Resorts at Satapada & Bhitarkanika.
The Lake at Satapada is home to more than a hundred species of fish and dolphins and is an excellent site for dolphin viewing in the country. Tourist prefer to ply in boat to have a closer glance at Dolphins. Satapada is well connected by road and is
about 50 Km from Puri.
The Swosti Group plans to build a resort unit at Satpada for which land measuring 5
Acres have been acquired. The proposed Resort would have 50 keys, multi-cuisine restaurant, bar etc. The project is estimated to cost INR 250 million.
Eco-Tourism destination at Bhittara Kanika
Bhittara Kanika is a famous natural mangrove forest on the mouth of three rivers
(Brahmani, Baitarani and Salandi) confluence with the sea. The serene forest has been declared as a wild life sanctuary by Government and has the biggest crocodile research centre in the country. There is an influx of tourists during season
beginning from November to March. Tourists used to stay in Forest Bungalows with prior reservations. With the recent announcement of Government to allow eco-
tourism by the Government private operators have a very good opportunity to set up eco-tourism destinations and Swosti Group with a chain of hotels and a well known Travel Agency has an edge to set up and run an Eco-Tourism destination.
Swosti Group has already acquired 2 Acres of land in Bhittara Kanika for this purpose. The site is well connected by road from Bhadrak via Chandbali. Bhadrak
town is 125 Km from Bhubaneswar on the NH-5. The centre is conceptualized as Swiss-tent based A/c accommodation with 10 rooms (double bedded – 8 rooms and (four bedded – 2 rooms), dinning hall, yoga centre and free open space. The
project is estimated to cost around INR 250 Million and with IRR of 25% is viable one.
