Brno is the second biggest city in the Czech Republic. It is capital of Moravien.

The castle was founded in the second half of the 13th century. It was founded by Premysl Otakar the second. A jail is the most intersting in this castle. In 1962 the castle was declared as the national cultular monument. The castle is situated on a hill in the middle of the city.

Petr and Paul´s Cathedral dominants the city Brno. Petrov was founded Margrave Konrad the second. The cathedral was built in the city center. It is a church,which was built in Ghotik style.

Freedom Square is regarded as an imaginary center and the center of the city.The last reconstruction of the square took place in 2006, when the square was completely paved.The astronomical clock was placed in the square in 2010.

The castle is located about 20 km far from the center of Brno. It is one of the largest castle complexes in Moravia and in CR. A Chapel Matky Boží is a very rare and interesting chapel in this castle.
