Holding this certification increases the understanding at an executive level that I am involved to help them achieve their business needs, and replaces the perception that I am simply a technician who only deals in speeds and feeds.

The board review certification process is something a CIO understands and appreciates. It helps demonstrate that I have a complete understanding of their business needs and can “translate” these needs into a business case and a comprehensive solution.
