The instrument air compressor inst allation is located in an

engine room. Air from within the room is forced out by the

compressor driven ventilators. Part of this air recirculates

inside the room for winterization purposes.

The oil is produced from 18

different well-sites in the

Schoonebeek area. Each site

has its own instrument air

generation facility to ensure

safe and continuous

operation over the years.

Custom built installations:

This example shows how Geveke converts manufacturers

standard equipment to meet the technical requirements for the

oil & gas industry. This desiccant dryer unit with fil tration (red

filter houses) is converted in such a way t hat its design life

meets the requirements. The standard dryer control, suitable

for the standard industry, is converted and protected from the

harsh conditions it is confronted wit h on a gas production

platform on the North Sea.

The same applies to the air

intake filters that protect the

compressors internals from

particles and dust in the air.

For s tandard land application,

the normal fil ters are wel l

suited for the required duty.

In an (ATEX) oil & gas

application, the filters are

made explosion proof in a

stainless st eel enclosure.

Gascompressors:

Geveke does not only creates air- and biogas

Hydrogen compression:

Hydrogen is a light and highly explosi ve gasto handle. We find however more and more

applications where this gas is used as an

alternative green energy source. If you think

of the electricity produced by wind during

the night is conver ted into hydrogen, the

abstract need to compress t his gas becomes

touchable. If you compress hydrogen to

higher pressures for transport and storage,

you can imagine the potential for it in our

normal life in cars and public transport (fuel

cell technology).
