Teaching and ProgressThe BROWNS Teaching Style

Our philosophy is that for every hour that a

student spends in class, they should be able

to identify clear learning outcomes. Ourteaching team is responsible for providing

    this focused learning environment.

    Teacher Assessment of the Learner

We use a variety of assessment techniques

to gauge student progress at BROWNS.

Assessing students is done both formally,

    using paper-based tests and speaking

    interviews, and informally, from classroom

    participation, performance and homework

tasks. As all of our teachers meet the NEAS

teaching accreditation standards, we trustthem to measure student progress and

provide feedback to the students on areas of

    strength and areas for improvement.

    Engaging the Learner

Every student learns differently, and at

BROWNS, we make sure we support these

    different learning styles. Whatever your

learning needs, we provide a variety of tasks

and a supportive learning environment to

meet them. We address your motivation and
