What is HND?A BTEC HND is a Level 5 Higher Na�onal Diploma which is accredited by Edexcel; Uk’s largest Awarding Body. This qualifica�on is equivalent to 2 years Bachelors. It provides specialist work‐related learning, reflec�ng the requirements of employers and professional organiza�ons.
Overview of ProgramHND course will focus on sustainable development and involves the planning, design and construc�on of projects within the build environment. The course considers site and project inves�ga�on, design and analysis with regards to human needs, economic development, resource implica�ons and balance between the built and natural environment.
Course StructureThis qualifica�on consists of core units (which are mandatory) and specialist units, which will be taught in two years. The BTEC HND Diploma Program has 8 Core Units and 8 Specialist Units spread over two years. Regular classes will be offered five days a week having 3 hours lecturing each day. Students may opt for Morning/Evening session.
AssessmentThis program is totally assignment based and there are no exams. A variety of assessment methods are employed which include problem solving tasks, case studies and work based projects. All students are expected to par�cipate in outdoor prac�cal ac�vi�es as well.
