Dear TWH Collectibles Customer,

I am very excited to report that our rst production run or the Bucyrus 8750 Dragline is

sold out!

This project eatures Bucyrus Internationals Dragline technology currently at work in the

eld. A metal prototype sample will be eatured at our TWH booth during the February 15-

18 NYC International Toyair.

This project sold out so quickly that I am seriously considering a 50pc limited production

run or a second version. This would eature Bucyrus Internationals uture technology

and design changes. We plan to modiy the original resin tooling model to refect all these

changes and display it at the February 3-5 Nuremburg International Toyair.

Ater the two Toyairs, I will evaluate the interest in a second version and communicate

our intentions. Please note that my actory production costs are increasing substantially in

2009, so the second versions retail price must increase to $7000 i we release it.

The rst versions owners are a very exclusive group o collectors, no doubt about it. It

has been my pleasure to interact with some o the most interesting and knowledgeable

collectors rom around the world.

Given the current economy, I dont know the level o interest that will be generated or the

second version. I do hope to connect with another exclusive group o collectors that would

The Bucyrus 8750 Walking Dragline is one o the premiere excavators in the minin

world today. The TWH 1:50 scale reproduction o this legend is aithully detailed

to match the real machines looks in every way. Even the hoist and drag rope lines

can be manually operated by drum-wind mechanisms with the insertion o a key

into the side o the housing.

The main boom structure eatures completephoto-etched catwalks, walkways and landings

with metal handrails or durability and proper

scale appearance.

The upper portion o the eccentric cam o the

walking system protrudes through the revolving

rame deck and is clearly visible rom either side

o the model. Each cam has a walking shoe

attached to it, eaturing details such as railings

and steps.

The housing o the model eatures all o the major

detail ound on the real Bucyrus 8750, such as

the operators cab, electrical cabinets, walkways,

and ully detailed rootop air ltration system.

The main hoist ropes run on sheaves mounted onthe tri-structure boom support, and are manually

operated by inserting a key into the let side o the

housing. The main drag ropes are also operated

in this same way. The robust tri-structure boom

support holds up the weight o the main boom by

means o our heavy-duty boom-point lines.

The 8750 scale model eatures a ully detailed

eccentric-cam walking system, with the walking

shoes in a raised xed working position,

allowing ull rotation o the upper works on the

machine base, better known as the tub.

The roo top is equipped with exposed air lter

assemblies which are used on the real dragline or

pulling in air through the ltered intakes into the

pressurized housing. There are eight air ltration

an assemblies; our per side, each with two

scavenge ans, all with ully detailed photo-etched

catwalks with metal railings.

The large ront-mounted lower sheaves o the over

and-under airlead structure are pinned in place on

the revolving rame so they can swing rom let to

right to match the pull o the drag-ropes.

This rear view o the 8750 highlights the metal

louvered vents that run across the lower portion

o the housing, just above the revolving rame

structure.

The 8750 dragline eatures ully detailed walkways

running up and down each side o the main

boom. No attention to detail has been overlooked

in the design o the 4-chord boom structure

itsel, which is both strong and lightweight in

construction.

The 8750 is equipped with a ully detailed

extended operators cab mounted on the right

side o the upper rame structure.

The 8750 eatures a ully detailed dragline bucket

complete with equalizers, dump blocks, and

dual drag-chains or the most realistic 1:50 scale

appearance possible. (Note: Unpainted prototype

bucket shown.)

The main dragline bucket is controlled by two

turn-keys that operate the main hoist and drag

rope lines on the let side o the main housing.

This allows the bucket to be displayed in an

unlimited number o desired digging or dumping
