continue to fellowship, get drinks and play games. This is an OPTIONAL time! Youth who wish to leave after the devotional should be finished around 6:45pm. ALSO.. Summer Youth Camp Sign Up is NOW OPEN. Our Dates are set for May 21st-25th and we are planning to spend a day at the Magic Kingdom this year during camp, so your DEPOSIT MUST BE PAID ON TIME! TOTAL COST will be announced soon. A $100 Deposit PER PERSON MUST BE PAID BY FEBRUARY 26th! Please make sure you sign up ASAP. I Can’t Wait! THE AREA OF MUSIC: Each week as we gather for Worship, the music is always inspiring and uplifting. I hope you make every effort to attend each week. This Sunday morning the choir will sing a special and the Orchestra and Handbells will play with the hymns. The rehearsals for Handbells and Orchestra will resume in a few weeks. New Sunday School Class Began on January 8 If you have been looking for a Sunday School Class to join there is a new Adult
Sunday School Co-Ed Class that started January 8th in the Chapel.
Reception for Ted & Diane Kandler As most of you know, Ted Kandler is retiring as of January 31 as our Area Missionary. The Ben Hill-Irwin Association is planning a reception for him and Diane on Sunday, January 29 at Arbor Baptist Church. The time is from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and will be located in their social hall. Ted and Diane have certainly been a wonderful presence in our Church as well as in the Association for the last five plus years. We appreciated all the roles that they played, (Teacher, Preacher, Leader, Friend, Adviser) around First Baptist as well as the other churches of the area, and our Community. Please take this opportunity to go by and speak to them and let them know how much they are loved and will be missed.
THANKS SO MUCH!
The GA Girls would like to thank the members of First Baptist Church for your
support of the lollipops for Lottie Moon fund raiser. Because of your generous
gifts, the GAs raised $263.75 for Foreign Missions. A special thanks to our GA
leaders who work so hard to teach and lead this wonderful group of girls.

Jerry’s Scripture for Sunday
Exodus 7:8-13
8 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, 9 “When Phar-
aoh says to you, ‘Perform a miracle,’ then say to Aa-
ron, ‘Take your staff and throw it down before Phar-
aoh,’ and it will become a snake.”
10 So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and did just as the Lord commanded. Aaron threw his staff down in front of Pharaoh and his officials, and it became a snake. 11 Pharaoh then summoned wise men and sorcerers, and the
Egyptian magicians also did the same things by their secret arts: 12 Each one threw down his staff and it be-came a snake. But Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staffs. 13 Yet Pharaoh’s heart became hard and he would not listen to them, just as the Lord had said.
Please Consider Volunteering!
We are still in need of volunteers to help
lead our Children’s Church for our
Pre-School age group on Sunday
mornings. We have a committed group
of about 25 adults who are on a rotation
but they are asked to do lead 4 times a
year. With the elimination of our Nursery
Volunteer list, we were hoping some
would volunteer to help with Children’s
Church so that our current workers would not have to serve
so often. A NEW volunteer lists will begin in April so if you
would consider helping us, please contact Blane, Bailey or Ni-
cole Kicklighter. Thanks for your consideration.
Teddy Bears Needed
The Mission Friends are collecting Teddy Bears to give to the Fitzgerald Police Department for children they come in contact with. During the RA Pinewood Derby on February 15, please bring a standard size Teddy Bear or Stuffed animal as your admission to the Derby. You can also bring them by the church office anytime and we will get them to the Mission Friends. Thanks for your help with this mis-sion project!
SUNDAY SCHOOL & WORSHIP Please continue to make Sunday School and Worship a WEEKLY priority for you and your family. There is a Sunday School class for the youngest to the oldest member and everyone in between. Come worship with us and be inspired and challenged by Jerry’s sermons. The music is always uplifting and the fellowship is a blessing. See you this
Abundance Ministry
The Abundance Ministry continues to function for the Lifecare residents all because of God’s blessings and YOU. The snacks that you provide are a means for some that have no money in which to buy extras when their room and board is paid from their checks. Thank you for keeping this ministry going. Drinks, Individually wrapped Snack Cakes, Crackers, Vienna Sausage, Gum, Chips and Cookies are some of the items that you can bring. If you do not shop, you are welcome to donate money and someone else will do the shopping for you. Just mark your check or envelope for the Abundance Ministry.
