As you begin to design your booth for HPBExpo 2017, it is important to keep in mind regulations for your booth type. Knowing what is allowed now can prevent costly modifications required onsite. Here we outline some basic height restrictions for different booth types.

HPBExpo 2017 Manufacturer Specific Training

Each year we survey those that attend Expo Education to see what topics and types of programs they want. One of the most common requests we get is the desire for more brand specific information. Starting in 2013, HPBEF has provided an opportunity for manufacturers and distributors to conduct training meetings as part of the Expo Education program. Many manufacturers have used these sessions for technical training since attendees are hungry for advanced technical training. Some manufacturers have used these sessions for sales or marketing training. The content is entirely up to you. The HPBEF will provide the room and the basic Audio Visual set up. We will list your session along with all the Expo Education sessions. Don't miss this opportunity to meet with your dealers at the single most important event in the hearth industry. HPBExpo 2017 in Atlanta is looking great. The anticipation is building and all signs indicate it will be one of the best attended Expos in recent years. Space and time slots are limited and will be filled on a first-come first-serve basis. Please contact us as soon as possible to reserve your place. Rick Vlahos Executive Director Hearth Patio & Barbecue Education Foundation 703-524-8030 815-344-3890 Direct [email protected] • Time slots are available Thursday and Friday

o 8:00am - 10:00am, 10:30am - 12:30am, 1:00am - 3:00pm, 3:30pm - 5:30pm

• Cost per two-hour session: o If you are exhibiting on the trade show floor at HPBExpo 2017

$950 if you commit before January 1st $1250 after January 1st

o If you are not exhibiting on the trade show floor at HPBExpo 2017 $2600 HPBA members $3500 non-members

o Includes a screen, 4,000 Lumens LCD projector, lavaliere microphone, stands and drapes. o Limit selection to 2 time slots

• We will publish your session on the HPBExpo web site, Show Program Guide and the Expo mobile app. • Attendees do not need an Education Passport • You may limit attendance only to your dealers.

o Room monitors are part-time, temporary workers. Their responsibility is to scan the badges of everyone that attends an education session. Please plan to have your representative at the door to monitor who is allowed to attend if you want to limit attendance to your dealers

• You are responsible to submit your session for NFI CEUs. o Please make sure you take this step. Many, if not most, of the education attendees at Expo are looking for

NFI or CSIA CEUs. One application for CEUs goes to both organizations. o Applications for CEUs must be submitted by February 1st. o Go to: http://www.nficertified.org/CEUaccreditation2.cfm o Contact Rick Vlahos [email protected] if you need help with the application.
