DIA DE FOTOGRAFÍA OFICIAL EN EL CAMPEONATO SUB 19

Miembros del comité de Control, al igual que del Comité Organizador, Voluntarios,

Arbitros y Grupo de Apoyo del Campeonato Continental Sub 19 tuvieron un día

especial antes del inicio de los juegos de cuartos de final.

La Foto Oficial del evento tuvo lugar en el Gimnasio de Usos Múltuples del Centro de

Alto Rendimiento. Una vez más la familia del voleibol vivió una experiencia especial

que se ha convertido en parte de una nueva tradición en Baja California al albergar

muchos eventos internacionales en los últimos años.

Previamente, el Comité Organizador Local sostuvo una recepción para Oficiales de la

Confederación Norceca y Árbitros Internacionales, quienes tuvieron la oportunidad de

disfrutar de las delicias de la cocina Baja-Med de la región.

El comité también agradeció las confianza depositada en las autoridades deportivas

locales por albergar otro evento internacional más, ahora con las futuras estrellas del

voleibol varonil.

CLASIFICA EEUU A LAS SEMIFINALES, DERROTA A COSTA RICA

Estados Unidos consiguió su pase a las semifinales dentro del Campeonato Continental

Varonil de Voleibol Sub 19 de la Confederación Norceca, al derrotar a Costa Rica por

marcador de 3-0 (25-13, 25-13, 25-16 ) in la fase de cuartos de final.

Earl Schultz terminó con 14 puntos, mientras que David Parker cerró con 10 por parte

de Estados Unidos, mientras que Luis Diego Abarca cerró con 8 por parte de Costa

Rica, que jugará en la ronda de clasificación ante Islas Vírgenes Americanas. Mientras

tanto, Estados Unidos irá en contra de Cuba.

PUERTO RICO A SEMIS CONTRA MÉXICO, VENCE A NICARAGUA

Puerto Rico avanzó a las semifinales del Campeonato Continental Norceca Sub 19 tras

imponerse 3 sets a 0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-) ante Nicaragua. Juan Ruiz Goyco convirtió 17

puntos mientras que José Pagán finalizó con 10 para Puerto Rico. El mejor anotador de

Nicaragua fue Yuriel Duarte con 5. Puerto Rico se mide a México en el segundo partido

de las semifinales este viernes por la noche. Nicaragua jugará en la ronda de

clasificación en contra de San Martín Francés.

OFFICIAL PHOTO DAY AT U19 CONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Control Committee Members, as well as local organising committee members,

volunteers, referees and support staff had a special day prior to the quarterfinal matches.

The Official Photo day of the tournament took place at the Multipurpose Gym of the

Baja California High Performance Center. Once again volleyball family lived a special

experience that has become part of a new tradition in Baja California by hosting many

international events during the last years.

Previously, Local Organising Committee held a reception for Norceca Officers and

International Referees to live the Baja Med Cuisine experience. An also to thank for the

trust and confidence deposited in the State Sports Authorities to host another

international event, now with the future stars of men’s volleyball.

USA WINS OVER COSTA RICA, GETS A SPOT IN THE SEMIFINALS

The United States clinched a berth in the semifinals at the Norceca Boys’ U19

Continental Championship after winning over Costa Rica 3-0 (25- 13, 25-13, 25-16 ) in

the quarterfinals. Earl Schultz was the top scorer with 14 points, while David Parker

finished with 10 for USA. Luis Diego Abarca recorded 8 for Costa Rica.

Costa Rica will play for the classification this friday against US Virgin Islands, before

the semifinals while USA will match Cuba.

PUERTO RICO GOES TO SEMIS AGAINST MEXICO, BEATS NICARAGUA

Puerto Rico advanced to the semifinals at the Norceca Boys’ U19 Continental

Championship after a 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-14) over Nicaragua. Juan Ruiz Goyco

converted 17 points while Jose Pagan finished with 10 for Puerto Rico. Nicaragua’s top

scorer was Yuriel Duarte with 5. Puerto Rico will face Mexico on the second match of

the semifinals this friday night, Nicaragua will play at the classification round against

French Saint Martin.
