An Act of Charity

Dear Jesus, I love you with my whole heart, my whole soul, and with all my strength. May the love of your own Sacred Heart fill my soul and purify it so that I may die to the world for love of you, as you died on the Cross for love of me. My God, you are all mine; grant that I may be all yours in time and in eternity. Amen.

The parish Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held this year on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, following the evening Mass. The graphic on reverse side of this page is meant to exemplify all parish organizations/groups/committees including a brief summary of their key activies over the year.

At the meeting, each parish organization/group/committee will be represented and prepared to answer your questions and elaborate on their activities. This meeting will not only be an opportunity to acknowledge last year’s accomplishments, but also an occasion to consider the opportunities that the upcoming year will be offering. We are particularly excited about the following:

Our Lady of LourdesParish Organizations, Groups and Committees

• The Holy Father’s continued emphasis on the promotion of the New Evangelization• The Holy Father’s declaration of the Jubilee Year of Divine Mercy, and• Upcoming celebrations in 2017 for our parish’s 50th anniversary.

It is our intention to spend time at the meeting sharing your ideas about how our parish will be moving forward in the upcoming year.

If you are unable to attend, we invite you to share any thoughts and ideas with any member of the Parish Council, or if you prefer to submit them in writing to the parish office.

Keeping in mind that according to the Archbishop’s Pastoral Vision for Parishes, a healthy parish should be attentive to the following:

Recognizing that no single initiatve touches upon all seven categories, when discussing the two questions listed below, consider how any particular initiative supports one or more of the categories.

1. How do you see the parish supporting these events/themes over the next five years? (Please provide specific suggestions, strategies, and activities to enrich the life of the parish.)

2. How might parishioners benefit from your gifts in bringing these to life?
