MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING: December minutes were approved as read (motion by Link Newcomb/
second by Scott Johnson) January minutes were approved as corrected (motion by Scott Johnson/

TREASURER’S REPORT: (Lydia Torralva): Balance = $19,418 2017 audit to be scheduled before the Specialty w/ Lydia & Link.
CORRESPONDENCE RECEIVED BY SECRETARY: America’s Pet Expo 4/27 - 4/29. Scott will contact Jonda regarding staffing the booth. PCBC will pay for
booth space and parking only.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:
AKC Delegate (Link Newcomb) New directors were elected at delegates meeting. Dog Museum of America will be moving to NYC along with the AKC HQ. The AKC.org website has been updated. There is now akc.org TV that is available for streaming. Revenues remain flat
AKC Education (OPEN) Scott to explore having the lady (Shampoo company) give a presenta-
tion at the Club meeting held at the Mission Circuit venue.
BCA Representative (Lesley Dehaas) BCA Executive meeting to be held Friday evening at the PCBC Spe-
cialty. Division III Board meeting to be held Saturday at the PCBC Specialty.
Bullpup (Scott Johnson) Nothing to report.
Futurity & Breeder’s Match (Sherian Evans) Fine
Challenge Trophy (Lesley DeHaas) Lesley has it under control.
Champion Awards (Scott Johnson) Get your submittals in.
Fun Match (Brenda Newcomb) To be held 3/24at the Northkirk Presbyterian Church in Alta Loma.
Membership (Scott Johnson) Only 52 paid members have renewed (36 adults - 16 Juniors). Member-
ship last year was 150 total.

Specialty (Sherian & Kay) Arrangements have been made with hotel for appetizers/cash bar and champagne toast. Royal Canine will have a booth and are a sponsor. Vendors at this time are Donna C and So Cal Bulldog Rescue (only one day) 3 ramps are needed for top 20 (club’s, Link and Lalaine). Tellers needed. Kathy will contact Chelsey Conway and Richard Troung
Rescue Committee (Debra Munt) – Nothing to report.

Social Media (Lydia Torralva) – Nothing to report.
OLD/UNFINISHED BUSINESS Elizabeth Hugo Milan will judge the Division Show at SBKC. Link will
follow up with her on details.
NEW BUSINESS A new member application was read to attendees, motion to accept by
Scott, seconded by Kay. Katherine Gray is now a PCBC member. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Championship Award Rules
1. The recipient of the Champion Plaque must receive at least ten (10 points, including one (1) major in the following locations: San Luis Obispo County, Fresno County, Kern County, Tulare County, Kings County, all Southern California Counties, all shows put on by a Bulldog Specialty Club held in Division III, and the National Bull-dog Specialty no matter where held.
2. All legal owners and co-owners of the dog MUST be members of Pacific Coast Bulldog Club, Inc. in good standing at the time the required ten (10) points, including one (1) major are earned.
3. Those who apply for a plaque and do not meet the requirements will receive a Championship Certificate. All members who finish a Champion in the United States, regardless of locality, are entitled to a Championship Certificate and may apply for only the certificate by checking the appropriate box.
4. The Championship Award Application can be obtained from the Championship Award Chairperson or the Bullpup Editor.
5. The completed application must be submitted with a copy of the AKC Championship Certificate, the AKC Registration Certificate, and a 8x10 colored show photo or a good quality colored photo copy of the new champion no later than December 31st of the year prior to the Specialty Show to the Championship Award Chairperson. The photo will be retained as part of the permanent records of the Pacific Coast Bulldog Club, Inc.
6. The first plaque per recipient is free. Additional plaques maybe pur-chased at the time of application for $50 (fifty dollars). Check box at the bottom of the application form and enclose a check made out to P.C.B.C. with application and mail to the Championship Award Chairperson at the address below.
