The Cathedral looked very big as we walked towards it!

We met some new grown ups who told us what we

would be doing for the day. We worked with Buzzy

Bees.

Our first activity was Sandra telling us the story about the Lord’s Prayer. Then we made

some candles.

Next we walked down lots of steps into the main Cathedral and looked at the Prayer Mats. We said sorry to God for things we wished we hadn’t done.

We wrote sorry on the praying hands.

After lunch we made some flowers to say thank you to God for his

wonderful world, we made baskets and coloured wooden crosses.

Finally we enjoyed learning a Thank you song. We sung with the other school and played some

instruments.
