Education Week Assembly & Open Classrooms Next week we celebrate Education Week where the theme of ‘shared stories, better learning, stronger communities' will be acknowledged. All community members are invited to our assembly, book fair and open classrooms from 9:30 am next Thursday morning. 6TB & KC will be performing their class item, the Concert Band will be playing. Senior, Intermediate and Boys' Dance groups will be dancing and all the Choirs will be singing. It should be a huge production! The library will be open for the annual Book Fair. Please support this event. Morning tea will be available at the canteen. This will be an extended recess. Trivia Night Success Last Saturday evening’s trivia event was an enormous success. to be enjoyable for all The teacher representatives put up a brave fight and cameaway with a joint victory My personal highlight from the night was witnessing thenumber of parents smiling chatting socialising and donating The auction forlsquoprincipal for the dayrsquo was so successful we had to run a lsquoprincipal for half a dayrsquodue to popular demand Thank you to all who coordinated aspects of the night andto those who participated I look forward to the next time Please read the PampCNews page for more information

Parents and staff members have now responded to the uniform survey At themoment students in Years 4 and 5 who will be our seniors over the coming yearsare completing the survey as well to ensure that all perspectives are consideredwhen making final determinations I will be able to provide the survey results at thePampC meeting next Wednesday evening (3 August) Brekky BBQThe next breakfast BBQ will be held tomorrow morning Parents and their childrencan drop into the mulch area from 700am for a free feed until stocks run out Dueto WHS reasons children can only be fed if they are with a parent Looking forwardto seeing everybody there

Congratulations to Kindergarten for completing their first 100 days of school We celebratedwith a party day on Tuesday Students completed lots of fun activities all about the number100 They built a number 100 drew using 100 as their starting point counted all the way upto 100 Students were active for 100 seconds at a time We wrote 100 words and even madethemselves a frame for their 100 year old self
We topped it all off with a cupcake extravaganza in the shape of an enormous 100 and picniclunch A big thank you to all the Kindergarten teachers who organised this event We had lotsof fun at the 100th day We are very proud of every student Go to the Kindergarten 100 daygallery for more photosRuth Carlos
