district’s facility needs. Superintendent Heidi Taylor-Eliopoulos will share the facility plan, the
history of the proposals and the specifics of a referendum at this breakfast meeting.
There will be time for questions and answers.

Nonprofit Roundtable Discussion Thursday, September 22 - 9 - 10:30 am
Heyde Center for the Arts, 3 South High Street In April, 40 nonprofits met to discuss collaboration, fundraising and other common issues at the Heyde Center for the Arts. A report that summarizes the days discussion can be found on the Chippewa Falls Vision 2020 website, www.chippewafallsvision2020.com. As recommended by those who participated in the April session, Chippewa Falls Vision 2020 (Chamber Committee) will be facilitating a follow-up meeting on Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 9 am to 10:30 am at the Heyde Center for the Arts located at 3 South High Street, Chippewa Falls. Nonprofit executive directors, board representatives or committee representatives are encouraged to attend. The purpose of the meeting is to provide information about the Chippewa County Community Foundation, encourage collaboration and establish a community capital campaign calendar. There is no cost to the event but you must RSVP to the Chamber at 715-723-0331 or to [email protected].
Age of Opportunity Job & Volunteer Fair Employer Exhibit Opportunities Tuesday, September 20, Oakwood Mall The Annual "Age of Opportunity" Job & Volunteer Fair will be held on Tuesday, September 20, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Oakwood Mall. It
is organized by the Chippewa Falls, Menomonie and Eau Claire Chambers of Commerce in cooperation with Oakwood Mall, Citizens Employment & Training, Inc., and the Aging & Disability Resource Center. Targeted at individuals 55 and older, this is an excellent chance to interact with experienced, dependable and motivated workers interested in part time, full time, seasonal or volunteer opportunities. It takes place during National Employ Older Workers Week. About 150 people visited the previous Fair in September of last year. Exhibit tables are $60 for Chamber members and $85 for non-members. There are also a limited number of sponsorship opportunities available. The Chamber Ambassadors visited two locations this month. They stopped by Rooney Printing to meet the new owners, Dan Webb
and Kirk Boettcher. They took over at the beginning of the year. If you haven’t already done so, stop by and say Hi. Rooney Printing has been a member of the Chamber since 1998. The Ambassadors also visited Anna Giedd, the owner and licensed massage therapist at Nuturing Nature Massage Plus, LLC. Her office is located at 475 Chippewa Mall Drive, Suite 310. The Ambassadors presented her with “The First Dollar of Profit” and have invited her to become a Chamber member.
