ADONIS 5.0: Multi-Level Administration and Rights Management Motivation and Goals

In large organisations and for distributed

application scenarios there is the demand to

administrate BPM users on several

levels.

Sub-Administrators administrate a subset of the

users

Multi-level, de-centralised

administration!

4

Unique offering for large organisations!

Sub-administrator concept

• A Sub-administrator is defined by a Power Admin • The user groups a Sub-Admin belongs to, are defined by the Power Admin

• A Sub-administrator can:

• create new users • administrate users and model groups that they are responsible for • a Sub-Admin can only assign rights to model groups (for their user groups) that they

have write-access to • for “global” user groups a Sub-Admin can assign/remove “his” users • A Sub-Admin cannot create further Sub-administrators

Extending existing administration

concepts with an additional role

ADONIS 5.0: Modelling Made Even Easier “Your modelling assistant”: Hover Modelling

Your “Hover Modelling Assistant”:

• Select the desired object to follow (e.g. Decision, Activity, End, etc.) and • ADONIS will model the selected object in the desired position and automatically link it with the correct

relation. Then you can select the next object and model/link it with the process flow. • This function is available for all model types!

Hint: In combination with right-angled relations you can model Decisions, Loops etc. even faster and easier!

ADONIS 5.0: Modelling Made Even Easier Right-angled relations (connectors)

ADONIS draws relations automatically with a right angle at their bend points. This speeds up modelling especially when drawing Decisions, Parallelities and Loops!

Right-angled relations are automatically created while modelling. the user does not need to insert “bendpoints” manually!

New possibility to scroll in models (Space bar + Drag)

Moving visualised relation texts directly by dragging the text

Automatic text positioning at relations

Improved Select All incl. swimlanes (Ctrl+Shift+A)

Auto-Heal also when using “Cut”

Improvement using Space-Tool and Reference overview

Extensions in the Create Reference (Interref) dialogue

Extensions for model comparison: record attributes, comparing 2 text attributes

Extensions in the model explorer (Context menu, Drag & Drop)

Remembering column width + height in the tabular model view

Creating several new objects in the tabular view at once (per copy&paste)

Variants/Layout algorithms: improvements in the layout

… and further news making modelling with ADONIS even easier!

ADONIS 5.0: Scenario Specific Model Views and Attribute Filters Powerful concept for complex methods and scenarios

The increase in scenarios and users leads to more information this feature offers huge advantages for process management methods supporting different scenarios and user groups.

• Risk management • Process simulation and -evaluation • etc.

Example: Modus for Activity

(BPMS AL):

Reducing the content of notebooks to what the users need in their respective scenarios

Chapter is only shown in mode “Risk management”

Chapter is only shown in mode “Flow – Process evaluation”
