2017 Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame Inductees

Butler County is pleased to recognize Susan Schrage of Allison as their 2017 Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame inductee. While Sue was not in 4-H herself, she has made a huge impact on Butler County 4-H!

Sue has been a leader of the Butler County Young Riders 4-H

club for 13 years and served as the horse superintendent for

many years.

Sue has not simply been a club leader or superintendent, she

has accomplished a lot for the horse program in Butler County. Sue worked to remodel the horse barn on

the fairgrounds so exhibitors could stall their horses there during the fair. Fundraising, designing, and

building an announcers stand near the horse arena is another one of Sue’s notable accomplishments.

Thank you Sue!!
