The playlists’ creators or DJs can earn up to 15% of the music retail price and thus save some money (offset their earlier purchases) or purchase even more music and build more playlists for sale -- a win-win solution for both the music providers & consumers.

This - as we call it – DJ Leveraged or DJ Viral method not only provides income for music providers, but also acts as a non-invasive, word-of-mouth promotion tool for new artists and bands. Here at BMP, we support independent music, and we want to help promote it in any way we can.

The BuyMyPlaylist business model is extremely beneficial towards independent artists and record companies. Though we cooperate with all the major music companies and distributors – such as The Orchard or 7Digital, we are also very eager to work with small and medium independent labels.

What’s in it for an independent record label (a summary of basic benefits):

• Addition of all or a selection of tracks from your catalog to a database of over 8,000,000 tracks readily available to all music fans as 30-sec samples or paid downloads and streams• No additional distribution fees, except the BMP commission of 15%-20%. • No minimum recommended retail price (unless the music is sold to us at a bulk rate) that allows you to bit the competition and/or better market your music; as the music owner, you can also offer selected tracks free of charges for a time being, if you wish

As part of the partnership, we strongly encourage all record labels and artists to be pro-active and create their own playlists. They can be composed entirely of your own tracks, or be a mix of your tracks and similar/inspiring tunes by other even the most popular artists. By being pro-active on BMP, you can earn up to:

15% of your playlists’ retail prices IN ADDITION to your negotiated royalties!

That’s right – with BMP you can be paid TWICE. MORE, you can earn up to 15% on the music by others, just by recommending it. Become a BMP DJ, mix your favorite tunes into playlists of 5-8 tracks and earn up to 65% of the retail price or a negotiated bulk rate for streaming/download licences of your own music, plus up to 15% of the end-user price on others’ music you recommend – No other service offers so much!

A customized contract with BuyMyPlaylist gives you:

• High effective percentage share or commission on sale – up to 65%• The share can be based on the end-user or actual retail prices, or as a bulk rate, which means higher returns and/or more control of the sale outcomes• Additional earnings – up to 15% of retail price – on personal playlist sales, also those containing hits by other labels/artists• Free publicity and ability to promote your music along the established artists• Self-replicated, viral sales and (fully controlled!) An individual page created for each artist contributing to BMP, fully customizable for artists of labels cooperating with BMP. This page can contain:

• Photos and a short biography of the artist• Artist’s discography (optionally, with links to releases on BMP and external sites)• List of artist’s tracks, available for streaming and download• List of artist’s events with detailed information• News feed from selected source (e.g. artist’s website, MySpace blog, Twitter…)

• Artist’s playlists – generating up to 15% additional income on sale of his/her music

The Embeddable Webplayer!

When cooperating with BMP, you have the unique opportunity not only to create personal and mixed playlists, promote and sell them, but also to embed your very own webplayer into your artist’s or company’s website, MySpace profile, or just about any other place in the Web that allows embeddable elements.

This widget will help you present/sell your music directly to your loyal fans, as well as help you reach out to new markets and promote the availability of your music on BuyMyPlaylist and its partners, and thus increas your revenues.

A section of our site devoted to DJ’s, news from the world of digital music, information about the best clubs, live acts & other events, as well as the freshest and most frequently played DJ mixes from the BMP catalog.

The Weekly Contest

Every week BMP will hold a contest for the best playlist in a certain genre or theme. We can customize the contest so that the BMP Users can use only tracks provided by your company.
