The $25K SMB Powerpitch
• Win $25K in prize money for the best SMB business plan– The competition recognizes and rewards excellence in selling Cisco solutions into the SMB space. – Business plan must focus on achieving specific results in growing business in the small and mid-
sized business markets. The plan must center on one of the following categories:• Advanced Technology (wireless, IP Communications, Security)• Vertical Markets
– Final contestants will "pitch" their plans to a live panel of judges in a beautiful resort in Half Moon Bay, CA. The grand prize winner will receive $25,000 in prize money to be used for implementing their winning plan.
• Who Can Enter– Cisco registered, premier, Silver, or Gold reseller companies who are also Comstor SMBx Partners.
• For those not already a Comstor SMBx Partner, they must complete an application and be approved before the contest registration deadline of April 30, 2005.
– Important Dates• Contest Launch March 24, 2005
– Registration deadline April 30, 2005• Phase 1: Preliminary Stage
– (4 page summary due) June 30, 2005(Must be an approved SMBx Partner by this deadline to participate)
• Phase 2: Final Stage – (25 page plan due) September 30, 2005
• Final Judging– (Oral Presentation) October 13-14, 2005 in Half Moon Bay, CA
