Distributed Documents vs Imaged Documents

•Distributed Documents•Used in C-IV only•Used to track documents that are “printed” from C-IV •Generates documents specifically for a case (QR7, NOA, etc.)•Documents generated may have an Imaging Barcode•Documents can be viewed and reprinted from C-IV (as printed/mailed)

Distributed Documents vs Imaged Documents

•Imaged Documents•C-IV Distributed document scanned back in using Barcode capture profile•System generates a “+” with an Images link to show returned document•When Image link is clicked, either the one returned document will be displayed – or -•A list of multiple documents displays if supporting documentation recorded with the barcode value by utilizing barcode and patchcode capture method – or – if the document has been receive more than once and no applicable date has been applied

ImageNow Toolbar

Tool Name Clicking the button lets you Clicking the arrow lets you

Batches Display ImageNow Explorer for all document batches. Document Batches are only used when utilizing the <County>_Barcode Capture Profile.

Select all batches, only batches ready for QA, or batches ready for linking. Users will always want to click batches ready for QA.

Documents Display ImageNow Explorer, where you can search for documents. Only Supervisors have access to Document View.

Select a predefined document query or define a new query.

Workflow Display the ImageNow Explorer for any workflow queues that contain documents.

Select a specific workflow and queue. For workers, they will typically select their Worker ID to get to their Workflow Queue.

Capture Start the default Capture Profile. Start any Capture Profile in the list.

Help Display Help for the ImageNow product you are currently viewing.

Display Help for any ImageNow product in the list.

•Explorer – Provides user access to Batches, Documents, and Workflow Views.

ImageNow Explorer

Tool Name Description

Open Opens the selected item.

Launch Association Application

Open the item in the application in which it was originally created. (Only users with Export Privilege)

E-mail

Display the E-mail Format dialog box for the selected item, which lets you select the way you want to send items to e-mail recipients. ImageNow Export privilege must be granted in order to allow sending as Attachment. Standard users only have access to email Link.

Export Display the Export dialog box, which lets you select the destination folder of the items you are exporting. (Only users with Export Privilege)

Print Display the Print dialog box, which lets you send the items to your printer.

Send to User Provides the ability to send a document to Users that are currently online.

Properties Display the Document Properties dialog box for the selected item.

Notes Display Notes for the Selected Document.

ImageNow ViewerViewer – displays any document that is opened from the Imaging Explorer. The Imaging Viewer allows you to view the document, view the properties, add annotations, as well as other processing steps.

Tool Name Description

View Next Item Next Item in Workflow is Displayed

Relink (Gold Key)

Used when relinking document to the correct case. Also referred to as the Gold Key. This is only enabled in the <County>_Reindex Queue.

Route Forward Sends the document to the next queue. For Worker’s Queues, this will route the document forward to be Indexed and Completed.

Mark Item as On Hold

Changes Document Status to On Hold

Mark Item as Pending

Changes Document Status to Pending

View Workflow History

Displays Workflow History for current document.

View Recently Routed Items

Displays Workflow Items that have been recently routed out of the queue.
