The most common culprit has to do with cabling or tubing obstructing the movement of either the Grind or Mill stepper motors. In this case, the CEREC Service Software may run the ser- vice tests properly, but you are not able to calibrate or mill. To remedy this you must re- move the cover from the side affected and check the cabling/tubing that is routed through the “energy chain.” If you find some slack in one of the cables in the chain, you must reroute this cable so that slack is no longer present.
