There’s more to ending poverty than giving aid. You can make a BIG difference just by taking some simple actions. Just as youmight help the environment by using less fuel, you can help to end poverty by the actions you take every single day.

And it doesn’t stop there.Your actions caninfluence and inspireothers to do somethingtoo – spreading themessage of change far and wide.

Everyone can campaign to make the world a better place.

Poverty denies more than 100 millionchildren their rightful place inschool. Many children in the UKunderstand that this will keeppoor children living in poverty. That’s why they are part of themovement calling for thisunnecessary and unjustcycle of poverty to bebroken – once and for all.

Pillow talk: Oxfam’s Make Trade Fair campaign callsfor changes to the unfair rules of international trade– because they keep people trapped in poverty. If you want to live in a world where trade no longer

causes so much poverty, you can take lots ofactions to make it happen.

This mock pillow fight was one of manystunts that successfully raised awarenessof unfair international trade rules.

You can have fun putting acrossimportant issues to attract the

attention of the press, radio, TV,and the general public.
