Installation
1. TurnoffanyassociatedcomponentspriortoconnectingtheCantataMusicCenter.Thisminimizesthechanceofmomentaryelectricalsurgesdisturbingyoursystem.
2. SetthepowerswitchontherearoftheunittotheOFFposition,attachthepowercordandconnectittoyourelectricaloutlet.(TheOFFpositionisselectedwhenthe“O”symbolontheswitchisdepressed.)
3. ConnecttheanalogoutputsoftheCantataMusicCentertoyourpreamplifieroramplifier.TheCantataMusicCenterisdesignedtoconnecttoanypreamplifieroramplifierdirectlyusingRCAorXLRinterconnects.
4. TurnonthemainpowerswitchontherearpaneloftheCantataMusicCenter.(TheONpositionisselectedwhenthe“I”symbolontheswitchisdepressed.)TheCantatawillbegininlow-powerstandbymode.Pressthestandbybuttononeitherthefrontpanelortheremotecontrol.TheCantataMusicCenterwilltakeafewsecondstoinitializeandreadthediscifpresent.Volumelevelisinitiallysettoalowlevel(30).
5. Turnontherestofyoursystem.Itisagoodhabittoturntheamplifieronlast,andofffirst,topreventsurgesandtransientsfromreachingyourloudspeakers.
6. InsertaCDandpressPlay,orselectanexternalinputviatheremoteorfrontpanel.
7. Adjustthevolume.Ifyouareusingapreamplifier,werecommendsettingtheleveltomaximum(100).ThevolumesettingcanalsobeusedtomatchtheleveloftheCantataMusicCentertoothersourcecomponents,inordertominimizethedifferencewhenswitchingsources.
Unpacking
AfterunpackingyourCantataMusicCenter,inspectitforanyshippingdamageandcontactusimmediatelyifanyisfound.Donotplugtheunitintoanyoutletifyoudiscoveranyshippingdamage.
Pleasekeepallpackingmaterialsforfuturetransportofyourplayer,andpleasedonotdetachthefoamfromtheinsideoftheshippingcrate.Thecrateisdesignedforeasyreuseshoulditbeneededandiswell-testedtoensurethesafetyofyourplayer.Shippingtheunitinanythingotherthanitsoriginalcratemayresultindamagethatisnotcoveredbywarranty.Ifyourequireareplacementcrateorotherpackingmaterials,pleasecontactResolutionAudio.
InadditiontotheMusicCenter,thefollowingitemsarealsoincluded:mainspowercord,remotecontrol,and(2)AAAbatteriesfortheremotecontrol.Toinstallthebatteriesintheremotecontrol,openthecoveronthebackoftheremote,insertthebatteriesintheorientationshowninsidethecompartment,andreplacethecover.

Standby–Togglestheplayerbetweennormaloperationandstandby.Instandby,theunitentersalow-powermodewhileretainingsettings.
Input Selector–Pressingthisbuttonwillcyclethroughavailablesources.

Compact Disc Slot–PlacingaCDpartwayintotheslotwillcausetheplayertoautomaticallyloadtheCDintotheplayer.PressingtheStop/EjectCDbuttononthefrontpanel,ortheEjectbuttonontheremote,willejecttheCD.
