Amongst these SMEs, and other international entrepreneurs and small businesses, there may be a preference for flexible yet high-performing office spaces, so that they could channel efforts into building business connections and do not need to have a dedicated team handling leases and related matters. Excitingly, Collective Works has also attracted the interest of large corporations looking for innovative, collaborative and flexible options for their project teams. This growing interest has established Collective Works Capital Tower as a flag-bearer for the shift in dynamics of the local workspace industry. With most coworking spaces in Singapore located in city fringe areas, Collective Works Capital Tower aims to fill a gap in the market—offering a high-specification, premium CBD space that caters to companies that lie on the spectrum between fledgling small businesses, full-fledged companies and multi-national corporations. Demand is quickly emerging for high-quality coworking spaces in the CBD, which offer a polished corporate image and greater proximity to clients. On the 12 th floor of Capital Tower are offices of a different nature: beyond the striking green wall feature at the front desk, the space opens to an innovatively-designed coworking office boasting views of the city. The design is a trademark of Collective Works Capital Tower, where the concentration of talent and high-performing businesses residing within hints at a brand-new working culture of tomorrow. Collective Works Capital Tower is the first premium coworking space of its kind to be housed in a Grade A office building in the Central Business District (CBD), occupying 22,000 square feet of space. The coworking space leverages CapitaLand Commercial Trust’s (CCT) quality portfolio, and Collective Works’ finely honed expertise as a leading company in the coworking sector. First introduced in the United States and Europe, the trend of coworking has reached Singapore’s shores and is spreading all over Asia—riding on the waves of associated trends like the advent of the millennial generation, growth of entrepreneurship, sharing economy, and technology automation. Information from Singapore’s Department of Statistics revealed that in 2015, 99% of the enterprises in First Grade A coworking space Collective Works Capital Tower opens doors to innovation and entrepreneurship. >>

From 7 to 17 November 2016, the workplace community across CapitaLand Commercial Trust’s (CCT) 10 buildings received a complimentary bottle of yoghurt drink as part of the biannual treats. This refreshing and healthy drink on-the-go was well received by the community, as echoed by Felicia Loe, a staff member from Total Gas & Power Asia Pte Ltd, a tenant at Raffles City Tower : “The treats are yummy and at the same time, they are healthy choices.” Paul Tan from Indosuez, a tenant at Capital Tower , added that being able to enjoy the treats together with his fellow colleagues makes his work day better. The highlight of this activity was the opportunity for tenants to win CapitaVouchers through a lucky draw by answering three correct questions in a mini quiz regarding CCT’s workplace community activities.

STSPMF began as a community project initiated by The Straits Times, sparked by a child’s story of saving up pocket money to help her family make ends meet. Since 2000, STSPMF has provided pocket money to children from low-income families, ensuring that they do not go hungry or are left out at school.

From 14 November to 9 December 2016, tenants participated in the gift donation by picking up wish labels from collection areas at selected CCT properties. After which, tenants and CapitaLand staff volunteers wil l set aside their t ime from 14 to 16 December 2016 to wrap and deliver these gifts to the beneficiaries.

In addit ion to the gi f ts , CapitaLand Hope Foundat ion, the philanthropic arm of CapitaLand, will donate $10 to STSPMF for every wish fulfi l led.

For more details, visit cct.com.sg/giftsofjoy.

This contest is for tenants of CCT properties only (excluding CapitaLand employees). Email your responses to [email protected] by 30 December 2016 . The first 10 respondents with the correct answers stand to receive 30,000 STAR$, credited to their CapitaStar accounts. Please include your name, telephone number, and office building to enable us to process responses.

Winners will be notified by email.
