1. Capstone Detailsi. 1 kumpulan terdiri daripada maksimum 4 orang pelajar.ii. Pertemuan dengan pelajar sebanyak 3 kali dengan jumlah
jam yang sama seperti PERDANA iaitu 36 jam.iii. Bagi pusat Johor Bahru (JB), dijalankan pada hari Isnin
dan Selasa di UTMJB pada Minggu 1, 4 dan 7.iv. Bagi pusat Kuala Lumpur (KL), dijalankan pada hari Sabtu
dan Ahad di UTMKL untuk pertemuan 1 (pensyarah perluke UTMKL) pada Minggu 1. Seterusnya pada hari Isnindan Selasa di UTMJB pada Minggu 4 dan 7.
v. Perlaksanaan di UTMJB memberi pelajar peluangmenggunakan semua makmal di kampus JB berbandinghanya 1 makmal yang ditempah di KL dalam perlaksanaansesi sebelum ini.

vEach group will be given:ü 2-5 Mahjong papers,ü 3 marker pens (black, blue & red), ü A4 papers, andü a set of sticky notes.
v Budget: RM300/group (claimable with original receipts).v 1st meeting, Briefing by the Coordinator (1 hour).v The next meetings: Group discussion & lab activity by
facilitator.
Implementation
v Week 1:o a design project title by refining the given Projecto 10 interview questions for in-depth study of user’s needso list of real users/respondents for interview purpose
v Week 2-3:o a users’ profile by using the data clustering method o a design statement based on the developed users’ profile
v Week 4:o a conceptual sketch of the proposed design using IDEO
brainstorming rules and STEEP analysiso a conceptual prototype to really understand and get the feel
of the proposed design

The students will select 3 most interested themes prior to the commencement of the Capstone session. Then, the
coordinator will distribute/decide the themes accordingly.
