Cardinal Newman High School, home of the Crusaders, is a co-ed college-prep high school in the Diocese of Palm Beach. Located on a 45 acre campus, CNHS students enroll in College-Prep, Honors, Advanced Placement, Dual Enrollment, and International Baccalaureate Courses. Established in 1961, CNHS is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

Graduates must complete 28 credits including: 4 credits each of Religion, English, Social Studies, Math and Science 2 credits of the same Foreign Language 1 credit from both Performing Arts and Physical Education

GUIDANCE/PLACEMENT

The Guidance and College Placement Office assists students in their academic planning, college planning, goal setting, decision-making and personal development. These services are available on an individual basis through counseling and collectively through special programs offered by the department. To promote the effectiveness of their efforts, the guidance counselors consult with teachers, parents, administrators and other significant parties in the lives of the students.

The entire Cardinal Newman Family utilizes the Naviance Succeed Program to maximize the student’s college search/application process. Naviance Succeed promotes college and career readiness through increased collaboration, rigor and transparency. It is a com-prehensive online solution designed to achieve the desired outcomes measuring progress against milestones.
