As I stepped on to the bus, I took the first seat visible so I could watch the road. When the engine started I sat back and relaxed for the ride. When I heard the bus come to a halt, I jumped up out of my seat, excited to explore the campgrounds. Once we were out of the bus I came across a sign which said "Welcome The Gardens School". I already knew this was going to be an amazing camp.

CabinsCabinsAs we walked into the foyer we had to sit down and ask/answer some questions. After that, I turned around and saw a sign that said "Cabins 1-10" and tugged at Jessica and Navjot to follow me to find our cabin. As we walked along the pathway in front of the cabin doors we counted each number four. I was the first of our cabin to step inside. I was puzzled because I only saw two bunk beds. But then I saw an open door and there were another THREE bunk beds. There were enough beds for 10 people. Just as well, because there were ten people on the list for cabin 4.

Day 2 Day 2 The next morning we got to breakfast at a reasonable time. I had some very creamy porridge and Jessica and Navjot had 2 pieces of toast each. Then we got ready for our activities. The first thing we did was Flying Fox. It was sooooo fun. Rennae, our instructor put us in a harness and when it was our turn we walked up lots of stairs. They went up so high I started to feel quite scared. But, I made it. It was actually quite fun, it's just jumping out that you find hard. The very next activity we had was orienteering which was quite difficult but we had Brad Lindsay (Connors Dad) on our team. When Jaymie was finding it difficult to work out the puzzle Brad kept hinting and I finally told Jaymie to write "If you see someone without a smile give them one of your's ☺" also throughout the day we had some other activities.

Day 3Day 3Day three was basically the same but guess what - we got to do kayaking and I crashed into the side twice but I got the hang of it and started to go quite fast. Once we went upstream quite a bit, Jonothan (Our Instructor) Told us to get out of our boat and kiss it. But guess what - when I was keeping Hannah's boat steady, I thought we were facing the same way because were next to each other - and I ended up kissing its butt - not so fun. Also, we had to sit on the back of our boat without support - which I did perfectly, but then Jonothan told us to get back in our boat and that's where it went wrong - I fell out and thought my head would go under but it only came up to my hips. The water was still cold though. But as soon as I got in, Reyce completely TIPPED his boat and Jonothan had to lift the kayak onto his knee and drain it out.That night we also had Burma trail. Well I might just have to say......I knew Brad was in there and unlike a lot of times...I was right.

We had to have a final cleanup in our cabins, pack our bags and take them outside. My pillow was so comfy that when I came back to see it had vanished, I ran to the bus to collect it again so I would have it for the ride. The bus ride home felt like five minutes. Then that was the end of it......
