Dining Room Refurbishment

The Bromfords School, Wickford recently awarded Talis

Projects the works to carry out a refurbishment of their School

Dining Room & Servery areas.

• Planning & Design to make the school dining room

facilities more contemporary, time efficient and an

enjoyable place for both students and staff.

• Repositioning of the cashier positions to enable more

effective use of the servery area, together with new

modern servery lighting.

• New Lighting/Electrical works.

• Modern use of colour when decorating the walls has given

the whole dining area a more contemporary feel.

• Working with our client to plan an efficient furniture layout

with new mobile dining tables, using a blend of both

circular and rectangular shapes to enable effective use of

space and seating for up to 228 persons.

Talis Projects were delighted to secure the works to carry out

an extensive Refurbishment Programme for The Bromfords

School Library.

Our many years of experience working within the educational

sector, ensured that with careful programming we completed

the works successfully within the tight timescale.

• Planning & Design to transform the library into a more

contemporary and efficient learning environment for

students.

• The design and installation of a new Retractable Seating

system which will ensure the School’s drama productions

are available to a wider audience and viewed in

comfortable, professional auditorium style seating.

• The Design, Supply and Installation for a new Stage

Lighting system.

• Planning and design for new ceiling lighting with acoustic

rafts which were then suspended to assist from above.

• Contemporary decoration with effective use of colour to

Walls etc.

• New flooring thoughout.

• Supply and installation of contemporary Window Blinds.

New mobile library tables and chairs, whilst in keeping with the

modern feel, very importantly still offering a flexible, practical

and effective layout for both teachers and students alike.

specialist Technology College, The Bromfords School in Wickford.
