About us
Since 1942 Libra has been operating in various
fields of Italian and foreign industry producing
gratings for plant buildings and construction.
Moreover, from 1980 Libra specialized in
producing fencing systems for civil and
industrial use with two dedicated lines.
Libra fencing systems are characterized by
a high durability over time due to its high
quality profiles.
Libra is provided with a technical department
which supplies each product to the exact
requirements of its customers in order to ensure
the highest functionality and affordability.

Residential and industrial construction
Libra electrowelded grating fencing systems
find their ideal application in the industrial
construction as practical and protective
element.
Due to their clean lines and a sense of
lightness, they are elements of architectural
harmony apt to delimit also very large areas.
With a wide range of colours available and
a great versatility of production, Libra fences
are also used as decorative elements in
those complexes which by their nature need
to be practical and functional.
Their high durability is ensured by a galvanizing process performed according to ISO quality
standards. Moreover, in order to ensure high protection against weathering agents and
pollutants, a possible coating with the latest equipments is added.

Line “Design” fencing systems are characterized by refined and exclusive lines which make them unique and easily adaptable to the different
architectural styles of the buildings for which they are conceived. Their style makes them more suitable for the field of the residential construction.
However, thanks to their design, they are chosen to enhance commercial and production buildings more and more often. All models can be
combined with Libra swing or sliding gates of the same line.
Line “Design” fencing systems are galvanized according to UNI EN ISO 1461 or UNI EN 10346 and the quality of the material used meets the
S 235JR EN 10025 standards.

DETAILS FOR ALL MODELS
It is easy to develop special panels starting from the standard ones by using the “endfittings”.
By cutting the standard panel to the desired size and sliding the fencing terminal into the
fencing edge profile, the desired module is created. By cutting the standard panel to the
desired size, the endfitting inside the fencing edge profile can be fixed with two self-drilling
screws (not included).

Line Classic fences are produced in electrowelded grating and are characterized by clean lines and high modularity. Classic fencing systems are a
perfect choice for industrial and residential construction. The galvanized modular panels, which can also be provided coated according to customer
specifications, have been specified for buildings and urban environment, where high performance and longevity are all important.

Instructions for grid fencing installation
Start to build wall/concrete slab considering the holes for the post. The holes must be set in equal modular distance from each other, as shown in the sketch.
Put the last post in its correct vertical plumb line position and block it with wedges only.
Put two spacers on the wall (recommended thickness: 2”(50mm), 3 15/16”(100mm) for Pegaso or Conica fencing system).
Put the first panel against the first post with the bolts (see detail )
Stretch a thread between the first and last post in order to follow the correct alignment.
Put the first post in its correct vertical plumb line position and block it with wedges only.

Set two props against the panel to hold it in its upright position. The two props must be firmly fixed against each other and drowned into the soil.
Put two spacers on the wall.
Detail of the fixing.
Repeat operations from point 8 to point 10 and control the alignment against the thread and the plumb line of the posts.
Screw now firmly all bolts till the security nut separates (see details )
Fill the holes of the posts with concrete.
Screw the second panel against the second post and set two props.
Put the second post in its hole and screw it against the first panel and block the post with wedges.
