The Rivano family begins in Chile, thanks to Don Pasquale Rivano, Italian immigrant, born in the small island of
Carloforte, Sardegna. Patriotic fighter of the independence of Italy, directed by General Guiseppe Garibaldi in 1860.
Arrived at Chile in 1963 along with Paulina Fauré, French girl whom knew in the ship traveling to America, which one fell in love deeply, changing its original destiny of Argentina, by the one of Chile, that was where come loved his. They settle down en the region of the Maule, to thus give origin to the
establishment of the Sardinian family in Chile. Of this valiant mixture of Italian-French blood, total of the
original culture of the wine and the culture of the grapevine, accompanied by a Mediterranean climate of the region of the Maule, born the idea of Pablo Jofré Rivano, its direct
descendant, to relate this qualities in the materialization of a Project of Vine of small production but good quality, doing
European way.

Original from Bordeaux, France, are characterized for being rich in fruit aromas that evoke tropical citruses and fruits; it produces fruit and structured notes that leaves an pleasant sensation of coolness. It is an ideal appetizer, a good support of fish, fresh seafood, and green salad. If they come from warm valleys like the Maule, the
acidity is integrated in the exquisite sweet bottoms that remember the peach trees and pineapples in conserve, as well as delicious
aromas like violets and jasmines, ideal for plates of more intense flavors. Kept in Barrels from oak, it loses a little aromas but it wins
enormously in roundness, density and end of mouth.

Velvet and of great fruitiness, the Merlot has low astringency and delicate flavor, is today synonymous of elegance and subtlety. Its smooth palate and
its sweet notes are perfect to accompanying greasy fish like salmon and tuna, also semimature cheeses or pastes and not excessively spicy white meats.
If they are more concentrated can perfectly compete with the structure of a Cabernet, therefore it is recommended to drink this style with red meats
little spicy. In reserve, refines still more its contributions, finding in the wood contribution of vanilla and chocolate.

Considered most aristocratic of the red stocks, loaded of history, our Cabernet Sauvignon has found one of its maximum expressions in the
Central Valley of our territory, like the Valley of the Maule. Original of Bordeaux, France, in Chile has adapted admirably to the
climatic conditions, obtaining an excellent result. Of great body, powerful acidity and aromatic complexity, are without doubt a very good support for all type of red meats and spicy plates. In barrels of oak, it smooths its acidity and it transforms it into exquisite velvet
sensations, improving the aromas of wood.
