Environmental Safety
Efficiency
Norman oil is an environmentally-friendly product with low content of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, meeting therequirements of the Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006:- content of benzo(a)pyrene is below 1 mg/kg (typically around 0.06-0.13 mg/kg);- total of individual polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons is below 10 mg/kg (typically less than 2.6 mg/kg for NORMAN-346 andless than 1.0 mg/kg for NORMAN-583);
The carbon-type composition of NORMAN oils promotes its compatibility both with synthetic (NBR, SBR, PBR) and naturalrubbers. Using of NORMAN oils improves process characteristics of rubber formulations and performance of tires producedthrough increase of their durability and fuel economy, decrease of noise and price reduction. High level of aromatics content(min 25%w) provides better wet grip improving driving safety.
NORMAN extender oil has been registered under REACH requirements (Registration Number 01-2119488706-23-0018).The product fully complies with the requirements of the Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of theCouncil of 18 December 2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation,Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH),including provisions of the Commission Regulation (EC) No 552/2009 of 22 June 2009.
NORMAN extender oils present no hazards to health and environment when used as recommended and occupational safetyand personal care procedures are followed. Please, refer to product SDS for more details.
