Series design with pipe thread
General
The check valves are screwed into a simple, threadedcavity. The body is sealed by an O-ring on the shoulderformed by the acute drill angle 118º.
The valve body consists of two parts connected byflanging (RK) or pressing together (RB) with a spring-loaded, hardened, and polished hemisphere of stainlessbearing steel located between them. The seat is alsohardened and polished.

Valve without pre-relief RHC 3/2The valve element is a ball and guarantees a fast open-ing of the full flow section diameter A → B during theopening operation. The switching speed of the spool isdamped. An abrupt opening and, as a result, any reliefshocks are thus prevented to a large extent. If they stillappear during the test run, then an additional throttlingpoint should be installed in the pilot fluid supply line, or avalve with pre-relief should be used.
Valve with pre-relief RHC 33VThe valve element is a spherically grinded piston (ballseat) with integrated ball check valve that is opened al-ready prior of the main piston during the opening opera-tion and opens a throttling section diameter for a shock-free relief of the consumer volume. It should be usedprimarily for high operating pressure levels and largeconsumer volumes. An additional throttling of the pilotfluid line increases the damping effect of the pre- relief.

Thus flow in the counterdirection is made possible. There are 1 and 2 stage pop-pets available with pilot ratios of 1 : 5 and 1 : 40, to suitdifferent operating conditions.

GeneralThe units belong to the group of shut-off valves as perDIN ISO 1219. Flow A to B blocked, in counter directionB to A open. The blocked flow polarity A to B can beenabled by hydraulic control.
Most common use:
• Blocking drain-free hydro-cylinder together with drainoil contacted flow control
• Return line discharge when oil flows appear that arelarger than the permitted flow for the directional valve,due to the surface ratio when positioning a double-acting hydro-cylinder.
• A hydraulically activated drain or circulation valve

Without pre-dischargingThese valves have a ball as valve element, which quicklyenables the full flow cross-section proportionally duringpilot-operation. The valves are suitable for all normal op-erations. A metering position in the pilot port dampensthe control movement of the pilot spool so that pressureshocks (unloading shocks) are mostly suppressed. How-ever, if they appear during the trial run, then the neces-sary additional dampening can be achieved by using acoiled up pilot line to the throttling coil.
With pre-dischargingFor these valves with pre-discharging, a spherical pol-ished valve spool (seat valve function) is built-in insteadof a ball. The additional equipment of a check valveachieves a pre-opening providing a shock-free unload-ing of the medium. Such types of functioning valves areused primarily for high working pressures and large con-sumer volumes. The smaller, i.e., gentle, the openingspeed of the control spool, the more effective the pre-discharging, which is achieved here by a pilot line func-tioning as a throttle coil.
